Sponsor screens that give every sponsor the time they paid for

Play an event's sponsors in a loop on a lobby TV, a screen at a room's door, or any screen you give them. You decide what each tier gets, CueStride works out what each sponsor gets, and every screen of a group shows the same slide at the same moment.

Illustration of a hotel lobby: a TV on a floor stand shows CueStride's real sponsor screen for DevConf 2026, Northbeam's logo on its own slide under Thank you to our sponsors, while a registration desk is set up behind it.
The room is an illustration; the screen is CueStride itself, captured from the app.

Tiers

Name the tiers as your prospectus does

A tier is a level of sponsorship in this event, named the way your prospectus names it. It is not a CueStride plan. A new event starts with Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, and an event has 1 to 10 tiers.

Each tier decides what its sponsors get on screen: a slide of their own, a shared slide of 2 to 12 logos, or no place on the screens at all. It sets the seconds each slide shows, from 3 to 60, and how many times each slide plays in one turn of the loop, from 1 to 5. The turns are spaced evenly, so a sponsor shown twice comes back about halfway round.

Beside each tier, the table says what one of its sponsors gets on Main's screens, in a prospectus's words, such as "20 s in every 1 min 20 s, 25 %". The order of the tiers sets the order of the slides, and nothing else.

The Sponsors tab's Tiers table: Platinum and Gold on their own slides, Silver and Bronze on shared slides of 3 and 6 logos, and Community kept off the screens, each with its seconds, its turns a loop, its size on the attendee page, and what each sponsor gets in Main.

Own slides

A slide of their own for the sponsors who paid for one

A sponsor on a tier with its own slide fills the screen: its 16:9 slide when you uploaded one, else its logo large on its tile with its name under it. The tile is light, so a logo reads on a dark screen, unless you turn it off for a logo made for a dark background.

At the top sits your account's logo beside the event's name, and across from it the heading, "Thank you to our sponsors", until you change it or turn it off. A group presented by a sponsor shows Presented by and that sponsor's logo in the heading's place, as Hall B does here.

When the loop has more than one slide, a thin bar along the bottom fills as each slide runs. The colours and the font are the event's screen theme, else the account's.

A sponsor screen for Hall B of DevConf 2026: the organiser's logo and the event's name at the top, Presented by Fernway in the corner, and Halcyon Labs' own slide filling the screen.

Shared slides

Smaller tiers share a slide, split evenly

A tier on a shared slide puts its sponsors' logos in an even grid, under the tier's name when the tier shows it. Each sponsor on the slide gets the slide's whole seconds.

A tier's sponsors split into slides of even size: seven logos with six a slide make slides of four and three, never six and one.

A shared slide on a sponsor screen for DevConf 2026: the Silver tier's name over four logos, Verdant, Mosaic, Sundial, and Corvid, each on its own light tile.

Where they show

Choose which rooms show whom

Every event has Main. Main holds every room of the event that is in no other group, and shows every sponsor on screens, except a tier or a sponsor you take out of it.

To show different sponsors in some rooms, add a group and tick its rooms. A group shows Main's sponsors and its own, or only its own: attach whole tiers, and name single sponsors in or take them out.

A group with no rooms is for screens outside them, such as the lobby; besides Main, an event has at most 5 of those. Each group's card in the Sponsors tab has a live picture of its sponsor screen and its link.

For track sponsors, a different sponsor in each breakout room, put them in a tier of their own, take that tier out of Main, then give each breakout room a group that shows Main's sponsors and is presented by its track sponsor.

The Sponsors tab's groups, Main, Hall B, and Lobby, each with a live picture of its sponsor screen, its rooms and sponsors, its link, Copy link, and Open.

The loop

See what each sponsor gets before the doors open

The last part of the Sponsors tab shows each group's loop: its length, its slides in order, and for each sponsor its seconds on screen in every loop, its turns, and its longest gap.

With two Platinum, three Gold, three Silver, and six Bronze sponsors on the tiers a new event starts with, Main's loop is 1 min 20 s, and a Platinum sponsor gets "20 s in every 1 min 20 s, 25 %", with its longest gap 44 s.

The tab warns you, without refusing, when a sponsor waits more than five minutes between turns, when a group would show nothing, and when something you chose for a group is not on screens. A save that would make any group's loop longer than 15 minutes is refused, and says which group.

A change you save reaches every sponsor screen within about two minutes. All the screens of a group switch together, at the end of a slide at least a minute after the save, so a slide already running is never cut short; a screen with nothing on it yet fills in about a minute after the save.

The loop in Main: 1 min 20 s, 9 slides, drawn as a strip with each slide's seconds, then a table of every sponsor with its tier, its time on screen each loop, its turns, and its longest gap.

At the door

An upright screen at a room's door

Stood upright, a sponsor screen draws each sponsor's 9:16 slide, else its logo across the screen with its name under it, else its 16:9 slide letterboxed, and puts shared logos in two columns and the event's name over the heading.

For a screen at one room's door, use the room's own link. It plays whichever group the room is in, so the screen follows the room when you move it to another group, and the link itself never changes.

Illustration of a venue corridor: beside a meeting room's double doors, an upright screen on the wall shows CueStride's real sponsor screen for DevConf 2026, stood upright, with Quillo's logo on its own slide.
The room is an illustration; the screen is CueStride itself, captured from the app.

Put it up

Put a sponsor screen up from the room

On a room's controller, Links opens Share a screen, whose Sponsors card plays the room's group and copies the room's own link. A group with no rooms, such as the lobby's, has its link in the Sponsors tab.

Open the link in the screen's browser: a TV's own browser, a stick, or a laptop. The screen needs no account, no sign-in, and no room password, keeps the display awake where the browser allows, and holds none of a room's screens.

A TV paired to your account can be switched to a sponsor screen from the Screens tab, without walking to it (Premium and up).

The Sponsors page of a room's Share a screen: Hall B's sponsor loop, presented by Fernway, larger, with its link, Copy, Open, the link's QR code, and Edit sponsors.

On phones

The same sponsors on the attendee page

The event's attendee page, which attendees open on their phones from a link or a QR code, shows the sponsors too (Premium and up). Each tier sets its own size there: large, medium, or small logos, names only, or not shown.

A sponsor with a website links to it, and a room presented by a sponsor says so beside the room.

The sponsors on DevConf 2026's attendee page, on a phone, under Thank you to our sponsors: the Platinum sponsors' logos large, the Gold ones medium, the Silver and Bronze ones small, and the Community tier's two sponsors by name only.

Plans

Which plan has it

Sponsor screens: Premium and up

Sponsors belong to an event, so the account needs events too (Premium and up). Only an account's admins manage sponsors.

On other plans, the Sponsors tab says what sponsor screens do and links to the plans, and a room's Share a screen shows a Sponsors card with a sample of how one looks. If the account moves to a plan without sponsor screens, the screens show the event's name and dates instead; the sponsors are kept, and play again after an upgrade.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does a sponsor screen need an account or an app?

No. It is a link opened in the screen's browser: a TV's own browser, a stick, or a laptop. It needs no account, no sign-in, and no room password.

Does a sponsor screen count against a room's screens?

No. A sponsor screen holds none of a room's screens, so it never counts against them.

How soon does a change reach the screens?

Within about two minutes. All the screens of a group switch together, at the end of a slide at least a minute after the save, so a slide already running is never cut short; a screen with nothing on it yet fills in about a minute after the save. The pictures in the Sponsors tab show the change as soon as you save it.

What files can a sponsor's logo and slides be?

A PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF, which your browser resizes and saves again under 512 KB, a GIF as its first frame; or an SVG of 512 KB or less, as it is. A sponsor can have a 16:9 slide, and a 9:16 one for upright screens.

Can a sponsor screen show a video or a timer?

No. Sponsor screens show images, not video, and a sponsor screen never shows a message, a timer, or a countdown.

What happens if a screen loses the network?

It keeps playing what it has, and catches up when the network is back.

How many sponsors can an event have?

Up to 60, in 1 to 10 tiers. A group's loop can be up to 15 minutes long.
