CueStride in ChatGPT
Ask ChatGPT for a timer with CueStride, and a countdown appears in the conversation, with its controls and a viewer link for any other screen. Follow-ups such as "pause it" or "add two minutes" change the same timer.
- Timers made in ChatGPT need no account. Anyone with the viewer link can watch. The conversation that made the timer, and the controller link its panel offers, control it.
- To stop ChatGPT controlling a timer, open its controller with Open controller, on the panel that created the timer, choose Links, and revoke the token labelled
chatgpt; the timer and its screens carry on. Keep that controller page if you may want to do this later: no later answer in ChatGPT shows its link again. A timer nobody uses is deleted after 90 days without activity, unless it has been added to an account, as the privacy policy says. - CueStride runs countdowns while you watch them. It does not ring an alarm after you leave ChatGPT. It reaches only the timers it made, never a room made in a CueStride account. If you add a timer made in ChatGPT to your account with its controller link, ChatGPT can still start, pause, and reset it, and add or take away time, until you revoke its link.
