Sixty seconds is the classic signal to a speaker that it is time to land the talk.

What it is good for

  • A one-minute warning before a speaker's slot ends
  • Practising an elevator pitch until it fits
  • Quick-fire rounds in a quiz or a panel
  • A plank, a stretch, or a breath between sessions

How this timer works

  • It counts from your device's clock, not by ticks, so it is right again the moment you come back to the tab.
  • Green, then yellow at one minute and red at fifteen seconds, the colours a speaker reads from the stage.
  • Past zero it keeps counting in red with a minus sign, so you know how far over you are.
  • A chime at zero, made on your device. Nothing is downloaded, stored, or tracked.
