Logo, themes, and fonts

Put your logo on every screen, hide the CueStride wordmark, and give the agendas and the board your colours and font, with a warning when text is hard to read.

Last checked against CueStride on 15 October 2026.

Screens can carry your event instead of ours. You can put your logo on every screen of your rooms and events, in place of the CueStride wordmark, which you can also keep when you have no logo, and give the attendees’ screens your own colours and font. Both are set once, for the account, in Account settings, under Branding. Only an account’s admins change them, and a change reaches open screens at once, with no reload.

Your logo and the wordmark

Pro and up
  1. Open Account settings and find Branding.
  2. Under Logo, choose a file. A PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or SVG image of 512 KB or less is read; a larger or different file is refused. The logo shows beside the field.
  3. To remove it, choose Remove logo.
  4. Tick or untick Show the CueStride wordmark on screens. It is on by default.

A logo replaces the wordmark: the two never appear together, so the checkbox draws the wordmark only where there is no logo. The speaker’s timer draws the logo at the top left and never the wordmark, so that corner stays empty with no logo; blackout hides it with the rest of the stage. The headers of the room agenda, the board, the event agenda, and the backstage board show the logo, or the wordmark when there is no logo and the checkbox is on, and stay empty with neither. So do the full-room notice and the password form, which show it in the centre. A sponsor screen follows the same rule: with nothing playing, the logo, or the wordmark when there is no logo and the checkbox is on, sits above the event’s name, and beside the name while a slide is on; with neither, that place stays empty. Operator pages, the pages you and your team use to run the show, keep the CueStride name.

On a plan without logos, the Branding section is one note that the logo starts with Pro, and that colours are part of Premium. Your settings are kept, but every screen shows the CueStride wordmark and no logo, and your logo returns when the plan does.

Screen themes

Premium and up

A theme styles the screens people read: the room agenda, the board, the event agenda, and sponsor screens. The speaker’s screen is not themed. Its colours carry the timer’s state, and a theme would hide them.

Under Screen theme in Branding, you choose:

  • A preset. Automatic, which follows the screen’s own light or dark setting, then Night, Day, Navy, Paper, and High contrast. Each shows as a small preview tile. Choosing one clears your colour overrides and the font before Save theme.
  • Colours. Background, Cards and columns, Borders, Text, Secondary text (speakers, rooms, times), and Current session: the progress bar on the room agenda and the board, and the outline plus the bar on the event agenda. Each has a colour picker and a reset to the preset.
  • A font. Inter, Roboto, Open Sans, Montserrat, DM Sans, Nunito, Source Sans 3, Space Grotesk, Lato, Poppins, Lora, Playfair Display, or Merriweather, or the preset’s own. The fonts come from CueStride, so a screen makes no request to anyone else’s server.

A live preview of a small agenda shows each change before you save it. Choose Save theme to keep it, or Discard changes to go back.

The contrast warning

The editor checks text on the background, text on the cards, and secondary text on both. When one would be hard to read, it names the pair and its contrast ratio. It warns when ordinary text is below 4.5 to 1, or secondary text is below 3 to 1. Automatic is checked in light and in dark, and the warning names which. It warns and still saves, so the choice stays yours, but read the pair it names on a screen from across a room before the doors open.

A theme for one event

An event can have a theme of its own, which its board, its agenda, and its sponsor screens use instead of the account’s, and the room agendas of its rooms use while the room belongs to the event. Set it from the event’s Settings on the Rooms page: Give it its own theme opens the same editor, and Edit theme once one is set. Use the account’s theme clears it. See Events, the board, and the attendee agenda.

On a plan with logos but without themes, the Branding section says under the logo controls that screen themes are part of Premium, with a link to the plans, and your screens show the default look. Saved settings return when the plan allows them.
